A non-fictional story about 3 weirdos, me, jing yuan and candis. Hahas..

Candis, jing yuan and I went out yesterday. Met up candis and took mrt and yuan met us at 2 stations later. Alight at buona vista and walked to holland village. Candis wanna have pasta for lunch but there's none suits us. So went to a food court and we agreed that we'll have a better meal at night. Jing yuan bought a bowl of dessert and after she finished, she overturn the bowl and sticking out the spoon, placed like a totoise. Hahas.. I saw that and I deliberately hit the table and the bowl falls onto the ground, followed by a loud clash. Hahas...

So after that, went into a supermarket and bought drinks and bread. Headed to botanic garden next. After a long walk, finally came to a pond behind the symphony stage. Started feeding the fishes, totoises and birds. So cute lor... Hahas... Well, after that, walked straight in and saw a place named "evolution garden". Took some pictures there and on the way, the path leads us to a shelter, it's where we feed the mosquitoes endless blood supply! So as we walk, it comes the exit beside the toilet when we walked straight up again. Well, intend to go to the nearest bus stop and just board any bus and see where'd it brings us to. However, on the way, saw a supermarket. Enters and the air conditioner was impressively cooling. When we look around, I saw an aluminum container and this is when my wild idea strikes my mind. ~Barberque~! So I told them what I was thinking and they agreed. So we started to grab the necessary stuffs for bbq and made payment.

Things we bought:

- Packet of chicken wings with 7 mid-wings inside;
- Packet of chicken breast meat;
- Bacon;
- Sausages
- Iron mash
- Charcoal
- Fire Starter
- Paper plates
- Serviettes
- 2 disposable aluminum container
- 2 bottles of 1.5 litre drinks
- Bottle of distilled water
- Satay sticks
- Lighters

Actually, wanted to do it in the botanic garden. However, happened to find out that there are timing, as if, they'll be closing at a certain time. So we walked to the bus-stop and look at the bus directories for directions. And I saw, Mac Ritchie reservoirs! So we took the bus along bukit timah road.

When we reached, walk in from the deserted pathway and reached a wooden pathway. Along the pathway, saw some monkeys besides. I told the girls to beware of them as they'll attack people. Guess what? They really did, victim was jing yuan. No injuries but the monkey made a hole to the plastic bag and a can of drink and the satay sticks dropped and went into the water. Hahas.. So we went against the original direction and finally came to a patch of grassland. Sat down and rest for a while before starting up the fire.

Well, have had a hard time starting up the fire as I've got zero experience for starting a successful one cos I've failed many times in the past. However, everything was done in around 30 minutes time I supposed and the girl's facial expressions really makes me wanna laugh! It's like pathetically watching me dealing with the fire starter and the charcoal. lolls... Well, asked them to marinate the meat with cream soda. After everything is up, we realised that we've got no satay sticks. So we can't do normal barbecuing on the iron mash. No choice, place the aluminum container over the fire and started "cooking". I started off with the wings and jing yuan find it interesting and she took over me and continue with the meat and bacon... Hahas... So me and candis sat down and waited for the chef for the yummy food. ^^

Time was getting late and dark. They were scared and I'm worried. So we packed up and made our way out of the reservoir. It was so damn dark. We had a very hard time walking out the path although it's just a 200m distance.

We walked to the bus stop and waited for vincent and chester. In the mean time, played some games together.. Hahas... 40 mins later, they finally arrived. So we board the next bus we saw and came to ang mo kio mrt station. Board the train and went to orchard. Drinks at lido and yuan was tired. So we took a bus ride home... ^^
